- 10+2 Intermediate / Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (B.T.C. / D.El.Ed.).
- 10+2 with at least 45% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (as per NCTE 2002 norms).
- 10+2 with at least 50% marks and a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).
- 10+2 with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
- Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (B.T.C. / D.El.Ed.).

- Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (B.T.C. / D.El.Ed.).
- Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (B.Ed. / L.T. / Shiksha Shastri – Regular).
- Bachelor’s Degree with at least 45% marks and B.Ed. (as per NCTE norms).
- 10+2 Intermediate / Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.), or a 4-year B.A./B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed program.

- Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks along with a 3-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. course.
